  1. f***ing idiots. I wish the breed didn't attract so many dickhead owners
  2. We made it! Dave's getting a special dinner tonight to celebrate... and also to give him energy to get through the gazillion orders in the book Thanks for your order STD, I think you made a good choice :D
  3. Staffys are awesome Ours are 5, 5.5 and 6 and they still get crated when unsupervised. I don't think I'll ever trust them to behave themselves! The little black one does this almost daily. My heart is broken. OH thinks it's funny so he gets to clean it up now.
  4. She's still waiting for the right home. I think it's here with us, but OH thinks we have enough on our plate. I suppose he has a point!
  5. Thanks. I thought when we moved all we did was fill out the C3A, but wasn't sure if that covered everything.
  6. I found the change of address form. Here's the link in case anyone [in NSW] needs it in the future: http://www.dlg.nsw.gov.au/dlg/dlghome/dlg_...A&index=301 I've told them to find the m/c paperwork that they got from the rescue group and to contact the appropriate registry too. And their vet.
  7. So council do the chip as well?
  8. A friend just asked me what she needs to do to keep her dog's record current when she moves house. I know you need to notify council of your change of address, but what about the microchip, is that separate?
  9. None of mine have RL collars and leads if it's any consolation Chopper had a Nightowl martingale and matching lead briefly, but it's gone to a magazine for a product review! Yours are in production I'd love to help you decide but it could come back and bite me on the bum if you're not happy so I'll have to remain impartial. They're both excellent choices
  10. Happy shopping everyone Last time a bunch of people tried to buy from the site at the same time some people experienced difficulty registering. If you have any problems, don't post in this thread, please email me instead > [email protected]
  11. I've just found out that the tag doesn't show up on our page if you have privacy settings on your account. In order to fix this you need to click the padlock under your status update and and make it visible to "everyone". The blog post has been updated to reflect this new development! http://www.ruthlessthings.com/blog/?p=2276 Apologies to those that have already tagged us, but you'll need to post again so it's visible on our page in order to be eligible for the draw.
  12. tlc has pointed out to me that the Facebook tagging thing isn't working. Sorry if you've already done it, but there aren't any showing up on our wall so I have no way of drawing a name! I need to come up with an alternative. Stay tuned! The main promotion hasn't changed. Everyone who orders a collar during the promotion period will still get a free 4ft lead. It's just the draw for a free cuff that's been affected.
  13. I just saw this on Photojojo and thought some people here might be interested in it. http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/pop-up-flash-bounce/
  14. If you have any questions please ask them on the Yahoo group. I'm not an organiser, I'm merely spreading the love
  15. Sometimes Sue from Pinnicle goes and takes great photos like these
  16. 2011 Lure Coursing Fun Days Sunday 27 March Bill Spilstead Complex for Canine Affairs, Erskine Park Lure coursing is a performance event developed in the early 70's by sighthound fanciers who hunted jackrabbits in the open field, which risked the harm caused by barbed wire fencing. They invented lure coursing as a safer, more controlled sport for sighthounds that would recreate the physical requirements of open field coursing, allowing them to continue testing the functional abilities of their sighthounds. Lure coursing aims to preserve and develop the coursing skills inherent in the sighthounds and to demonstrate that they can perform the functions for which they were originally bred. The hounds chase plastic bags on a course laid out to simulate escaping game. The plastic bags are pulled around on a nylon string course, propelled by a hand controlled motor. 17. The dog in question has passed her breed assessment and is now available for adoption. http://www.petrescue.com.au/view/102790 More pics of her here: http://www.ruthlessthings.com/blog/?p=2069
  18. Should mention that we have these decorations now, for people that think the Sweetheart is too girly. I also found skull and crossbones recently. I think both are only suitable for wide collars. Need to check the skulls to confirm.
  19. Argh, he's gorgeous!!! I'd probably avoid burgundy, but he could wear any of the other colours with silver, brass or aged brass. Do you want a flat collar or a training collar? He's big enough to wear a wide.
