Had it happen to me in Sydney also. -
Thanks And yes I don't think so. I know some people have said they couldn't get onto ChipIn at work but then they could at home. Weird.

Off Food And Drinking More Than Usual
ruthless replied to ruthless's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
He's still drinking and peeing a lot. He had a urine test and there's no infection. The vet said water diabetes only happens to greyhounds. Regardless, there was no glucose present. It seems that he was overexercised last weekend and it caused some kidney damage. If it doesn't right itself in 7-10 days we'll need to get blood tests done. It may be renal failure or cushings disease. They usually come on slowly though, so it's unlikely. -
Good luck today

Off Food And Drinking More Than Usual
ruthless replied to ruthless's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
He's got his appetite back [he demolished about a third of a roast chicken last night!] and he's not flat anymore. I'm not sure if he's still drinking more water than usual but I'll keep an eye on him today and then decide if he needs to see a vet. -
Is It Ok To Give A Young Dog A Deer Antler?

Ok, I'll limit it, thanks. Chewing keeps her quiet, back to the stuffed Kong I suppose! -
Is It Ok To Give A Young Dog A Deer Antler?
ruthless replied to ruthless's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I've taken it off her, but godammit those ten minutes of peace were fantastic And the trotters are so expensive Fixated is exactly what she was, she could've gone for hours. At what age would she be safe to have an antler? -
Chopper's off his food and he's drinking more water than usual. He spewed on Sat and Sun and hasn't been eating much since then. He's quite flat too, but he doesn't seem sick enough to need a vet visit. He had more bones than usual towards the end of last week. [OH was feeding them.] Could it be that?

Is It Ok To Give A Young Dog A Deer Antler?
ruthless replied to ruthless's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Is 5-6mo baby? Last time she was here [about a month ago] she lost a baby tooth chewing on a dried trotter. I don't know if she still has baby teeth, but she's really tucking into the antler. It's keeping her nice and quiet, I'd hate to take it from her! -

Can a 5-6mo Amstaff puppy have a deer antler? Is it ok for her young teeth? -

I should've said the kibble only makes up about 25% of their diet. -

Ours are on the salmon one. I didn't know anything about the poisoning. They're doing fine on it. I think there's more pooh than when they were on Advance though. -
No, theirs. I credited Animax under my links.

Aldi sometimes have cheap freezers. That's where we went last time we bought too much dog meat!

I think part of the point of the survey is that if even dog freaks like us can't tell if a dog is pure or crossed or a "Pit" or a "Pit x" then what bloody hope do the media/general public/officials on the scene have?

Sorry!
