I have that one framed in my office Half the calendars have been sold already, so don't leave it too late as there won't be a second print run.
-
Anyone who ordered a calendar during the presale should receive them in the next 7-10 days [The calendars are here, just waiting for the cardboard mailers to arrive.]

He was at the vet again today and he said Petey won't be 100% for about 6wks, so there's plenty of time to find him a great home!

Petey came to the anti-BSL rally in Sydney yesterday where he made a very big new friend And he chewed on lots of sticks He also made it onto the NineMSN coverage of the event  http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/8364140/sydney-dog-lovers-rally-against-breed-laws

He's a sweet boy for sure, he'll make someone very happy His story... he was rescued from Renbury Farm when he was 4mos (stray of unknown heritage). He went into foster care but one night he was attacked by a roaming dog. I offered to take him until he recuperated because I work from home. I thought it would only be a few weeks, but it's been almost two months now. He's on PetRescue but he won't be ready to leave for another few weeks. Him and Bruno are thick as thieves! I can't take my eyes off them

We'll be there! But you knew that anyway

Petey is so good in front of the camera. He'll make someone a great muse!

Chopper used to be like this. I conquered the problem by doing this: Obedience classes once a week A walk and a run every morning before work [a total of 60mins exercise] No attention before leaving and after returning home for at least ten mins. Longer if he's still over-excited. A Dogtra anti barking collar [worked on the lowest setting on day one of use, but he continued to wear it for another year just to make sure the nuisance barking was gone completely] Left with a stuffed Kong or a big meaty bone Gave Rescue Remedy and/or Nervatona before going out Although I have multiple dogs I separate when out so having company didn't make a difference to him. It's not fun and can be very stressful, but most of all try to stay calm and don't pity him or spoil him. Hope that helps.

Actually it was a really tough bed. He delicately opened the zipper without damaging the cover at all, but once he accessed the wadding inside he went to town on it! Luckily for him it's totally fixable. He can have it back when he's 6

He has a nice big blanket that he doesn't seem to chew on, but this idiot seems to think he needs a plush bed under it. I think I've finally learned that he doesn't!

All I've noticed is it has one of those metal handle things. I guess it would be attached to a harness. I don't think she carries a stick. She usually has two young kids with her [walking to school?] that tell her I'm there.
-
Not really, cause any time I see her it's when I have my dogs, so I can't go near her.
-
Could it be that she just put the gear on an untrained dog though? I've never really stopped to see it there was anything official looking about what the dog was wearing.

There's a partially sighted lady in my neighbourhood with a guide dog. I often pass them when I'm walking my dogs. I used to pull into driveways, laneways, etc. and stop to let her go by but she said her dog won't move if we're stopped so I give her as wide a berth as possible and keep walking. Her dog lunges at us every time without fail. Yesterday we met on a corner. I saw her coming and knew I could cross her path and be almost across the road by the time she reached the corner and thought that would be better than meeting head on on a narrow footpath. Her dog went schitzo and nearly pulled her onto the road. Surely guide dogs aren't supposed to be reactive like that
