Kate I just wanted to say, your loss has really touched me and I know how you must be feeling. Kiah would want to be remembered with smiles and memories of her happy life with you and your family. Every time you think of her now, remember something about her that makes you smile, the tears will follow of course, but try to remember you gave her a wonderful life and made her very happy, and she thanks you for that. She was a beautiful girl. RIP Kiah.

I 've been feeding chicken wings and necks to my dogs for six years haven't had any problems. I would just make sure you were there to watch them eat, and smash the larger wings.

arby, it would be a lot easier if he didn't share the same bed as me! I am so glad he's not the only one that does it, but Isure hope he grows out of it!

Thanks rugerfly and isaviz I feel better knowing its normal. I have spent a fortune on food, and I know I'm spoiling him but he won't eat Eagle Pack or Eukanuba or chicken mince or beef mince. But he will eat chicken wings and necks if he's hungry. Today I nearly bought him a barbeque chicken, but instead got him some pork strips and beef sausages and cooked them and he had a feast he loves cooked sausages. I made some Barf patties also, the girls loved them, he wouldn't even taste them, he didn't like the smell of them! He has a very high opinion of himself, but hey he's gorgeous so who's complaining, gotta love the V's. Thanks

I am a little concerned because sometimes when he is sleeping he breathes really loudly or irregular, and he snores really loud sometimes too! Is this normal for a 5 month old? I can't remember my 2 girls doing it. Also the other night it was really hot here and he was panting really loudly. He is a Vizsla, and is very active and seems very healthy though he has always been a fussy eater, not like the other 2. Any help would be appreciated.

Trace is your puppy getting lots of play time and expending lots of energy? I find some pups need to be worn out from playing. Also keep him awake as long as you can before you go to bed, don't let him sleep all night before you go to bed, because by 4am he's had enough sleep. If he's tired he'll sleep all night! Works for me.

Just got back from the vet. Rory has a very swollen lymph node in the back of his leg. Vet thinks/hopes it is a reaction to a small abrasion he has on his ankle. A course of antibiotics and it should get smaller and go away. If its still there in 7 days we need to do a needle biopsy and check for something more serious. Positive thoughts, I'm sure he will be fine.

I was so happy, my new puppy is 15 weeks old and had his first show yesterday. He took Baby Puppy in Show! I get home from work today and noticed a lump on his back leg. It is soft and round and about the size of a large marble. I never noticed it before, but its in a spot that you wouldn't notice easily, so it could have been there for awhile. The vet tommorrow ofcourse but can anybody make me feel any better by telling me this doesn't automatically mean cancer! But what else could it be? I am so worried, but I'll just have to wait until tommorrow, see what the vet has to say.

Hi meganjane, thanks for the info. Where would I buy livamol? Is it for dogs or would I be able to buy it from a chemist/health store?

Hi Larry, with the omega 3 oil supplement how much would you be giving and how often? Thanks for your suggestion. Thanks for your good wishes Shek, and congrats for Sat from what I hear you went really well. I was there but I didn't get to see you and Daegon. I hope its the start of a good show career for you both.

Thanks ellz,t-time,poodlefan and shekina I appreciate your help. I already feed the sardines every 2-3 days and I think it helps. I will buy some mink oil, but I'm going to try the oil in the final rinse like you suggested poodlefan, just a tiny bit at first to see. I have got Specialty on the Sat and Royal Melbourne on the Tues so I want her in top condition. Its the first Specialty and Royal for her and for me as well so wish us luck.

Can anybody suggest a good product to make my dog's coat look really glossy? She has a short coat(Vizsla) and it is in very good condition, but because I'm going to my first Specialty I want it to look really really shiny. Any suggestions? Portia
