I have a Vizsla boy who has always been a pain to get to eat, plus he doesn't like raw although he has always liked raw chicken wings, and is now eating raw kangaroo tails, but he is 22 months now, so getting a bit better. I have to cook everthing for him, my 3 girls all love raw mince etc... but I cook his and mix it with a bit of rice which he now eats. I buy premium kibble but he rarely eats much of that, but did find Eukanuba "performance" did put some weight on him, I am now trying Innova Evo which he quite likes. We also buy him sausages and pork strips ect... and cook for him, because I show him Don't know why some dogs are like this but its not through being spoilt as some people say Good Luck with your girl, I can't give you any advice, but someone told me they seem to get better as they get older

I might have to go in and have a look....they sound great! It might be a stupid question, but how do you know what butcher's put in their pet mince? Do you just ask? I look at it sometimes and it seems really fatty? Or is that just because it has bone minced in too? Hi Snoopy, I am always apprehensive about additives to pet mince. Until I found the place in Moonah, I always bought human grade mince. Their roo and rabbit and beef is all 100% pure and very lean as well. My dogs love it.

I boil all the offal, just enough to change colour and let it cool, all mine love it like that, but one in particular won't eat it raw.

Thats cheaper than Moonah, I think their rabbit is $4.50 for 500g. Yep mine love the rabbit and the roo

Yep the discount will be handy, I nearly fainted when I saw the price of the canned Evo $9.95 per small can, but like the shop assistant said, if its mixed with other it will do 3 feeds. Might try the rabbit one- 95% pure rabbit next time I go there, I'm so pleased because my fussy eater who is under weight had some more dry Evo for his brekky YEH!!

I bought some Evo today from Cambridge, the dogs really like it, even my very fussy eater, only added a little to their normal raw diet. $39.99 for 3 kg so not cheap.

They told me they are selling cheaper than the other two, but I wouldn't know the prices, prob only a few cents difference. my dogs, love their fresh roo meat and roo tails, but cheapest for chicken wings etc. is Chicken place in Glenorchy they are $1.98 kg, even their lamb shanks are reasonable price.

The pet food shop in Moonah (near Banjos) who are great with roo and roo tails, have Eagle pack and Advance and I think they have Eukanuba, are cheaper than Animal Tuckerbox, they are really nice too ;) plus they don't sell puppies

I called in there a couple of weeks ago and although I didn't look at the price of the premium kibble I thought their shampoos etc were really expensive also they were asking $20 for a lil bag of doggie biscuits I did buy a pair of nail clippers, much the same that you buy anywhere and they cost me $20 ;) I think most of their stuff is way too expensive

I feed Advance - Puppy and Junior I do buy Eagle Pack occassionally, but they seem to like Advance better

I do mine in the shower, I have a shower head that I can hold and there are no problems, actually they really like it

KC is everywhere here at the moment (Tas) 3 of my 4 have just had it and are all vaccinated, I'm pretty sure they picked it up at the Royal. None of them had it very bad, so I am sure the vaccination does help

I have tried Eukanubra and Eagle pack in 3 different flavours but my favourite is Advance puppy for the youngens and Advance Dental for the Adults, their coats are really shiny, but that may be due to all the chicken wings they eat

Just a thought, if you pull him out of day care, you could hire someone in your area to come in for 1 or 2 hours a day, have a play and a feed, puppy would be much happier, I know the hardest part would be finding the right person.
