Hi Nick, might just take you up on that have been seriously thinking of entering the other two before time runs out, so will enter them tommorrow and go from there. I entered the two youngsters who are in puppy but left out Lola (Intermediate) and Rauri (Intermediate) so will enter them both!!!! forgot you will be there at the same time

We are travelling from Tas to Sydney at Easter with 4 dogs, I only want to enter two at the Royal because I feel 4 would be too much as my husband won't handle. But I am entering them all in the Specialty on the Sunday. I want to find kennels close to where we are staying to leave the other two for a day and a night. We are staying at Van Village at Vinyard, does anyone know the area and know where the closest kennels are? your help would be appreciated ;)

I was thinking the same thing, what if a small child had ingested it......gross negligence and breaking all health and safety rules for running accommodation, they could quite easily lose their license

I feed bones everyday, I believe bones in the diet = healthy dogs

I have been feeding Evo for about 2 months now and its great, the dogs coats are really glossy. I feed 60%, sometimes more, raw, but always have dry as well. Evo has no grains just fruit, vegi and meat, and says on the pack it is human grade.

My young bitch had a false with her first heat and it seemed to last forever! I was told to give her rasberry leaf tabs, which I did, but that was later on and it did subside, but I think it had run its course by then anyway.

Very interesting re brown rice, I did mix white with brown last week and cooked it for longer, but ran out of brown so will definately get some more brown as seems to be a lot more nutrient content. Did cook some oats with the rice for one mix and my very fussy boy (who loves the added rice btw) wouldn't touch it

I have started adding rice to my dogs diet because I think I have been giving them too much protein. They have roo mince or beef mince with premium kibble, sardines, offal, chicken wings, grated carrot, cheese, egg + roo tails and meaty bones. I have been adding cooked rice now for about a week and they like it. Is there anything wrong with adding rice or oats to the diet?, I add about 20% to the raw mince.

If that was an option for me - then I wouldn't support them based on principle...but it is not as it is the only place in Tas that sells this food. Remember also that there are no PP stores in Tas. Pets Good Direct are not selling animals (other than hermit crabs and fish). It is a shame that they don't sell this good quality food anywhere else, but they don't sell puppies.........yet, I bought myself two 6kg bags of Evo for 1/2 price today, so thankyou for passing on the bargain.
