  1. King Valley is not in NSW. I have no objection to the NSW rule. The issue in contention is one of different rings, same show, no judge(s) in common. No shit Sherlock! This is what I posted "I would check up on this one. It IS a rule in NSW that you CANNOT show in a ring that your spouse, sibling, offspring etc is stewarding. I would hope that Vic is the same." and you said not to make rules up! I merely posted the info that I gadn't made the ruling up sheesh.
  2. SECTION 4 Show Stewards Appointments at Recognised Shows 4.1 A steward must not exhibit or act as a handler in the same ring in which the steward is officiating, nor must they act as a steward in a ring in which his spouse, his children, parents, brothers, sisters, their children, the parents of his spouse, their children, or grandchildren, or members who are members of his household, or in any case one or more of them, are exhibiting. 8/06 Made up? Not by me but by DogsNSW!!
  3. I love the fringed ribbons, don't mind the rosettes, wouldn't like a comet. I think all shows should drop the trophies and spend more money on fringies. Just need to get the CCs to agree!
  4. I would check up on this one. It IS a rule in NSW that you CANNOT show in a ring that your spouse, sibling, offspring etc is stewarding. I would hope that Vic is the same. :D
  5. No worries, just after you ring the show secs, put a note in with your cheque detailing your breed, classes etc so the sec can match things up. Nothing worse than putting aside three lots of entries with no cheques then receiving cheques with no note and no names matching up. Because lots of entries come with one name on the entries (or several), a different name on the envelope and a different one again on the cheque. VERY frustrating!
  6. Hey you, hi, are you still providing lapel cards?
  7. My dogs get C3, they get their first yearly booster and then no more. They go to shows, never had KC. Your decision.
  8. Mmmmm... I guess you would.... ????????? Yes, there was Rotary and the HMKC
  9. Yes you are right Fliss, only 30 mins late for the safety of the exhibitors running on the frost. All went well and we had a lovely weekend with a successful show. The grounds are looking great, quality dogs, EXCELLENT food, no problems and the judges were impressed with the quality of dogs and also had a great weekend.
  10. Yep, ditto Sway! When Mick use to come to shows if someone asked to have a look at it he would say 'for a dollar'. And he was serious!!!
  11. First port of call is your breeder then if they can't/won't help come back here.
  12. No numbers here yet. Still got a couple of days.
  13. Nope, as the catalogue is not correct - many missing dogs in various breeds. Do you think the catalogue was not complete and numbers not sent was because of Ozentries? I don't mean Ozentries was in error just that when I had to catalogue with ozentries I found it EXTREMELY difficult. Just interested to know if others find it hard.

  18. No, sorry, when I can get my program changed to produce a breed list automatically then I will supply them. Meantime, too much else to do.

  21. No the pup must have been older, you cannot show a dog under 3 calendar months. 12 weeks is 3 months. It was the pups first show she was 12 weeks and 3 days. As everyone else has said, 12 weeks is NOT 3 months. And as I said, you cannot show a dog under 3 CALENDAR months. I would be interested to know the pups date of birth and the show date please tommygirl.
  22. No the pup must have been older, you cannot show a dog under 3 calendar months.
  23. New owners at Barclay and NO dogs in rooms. I love it there but then I don't want my dog in the room. They have a naughty and a nice list, those on the naughty list have had dogs in rooms and will NEVER be allowed back. If you do stay there please don't take your dog in the room as even those on the nice list will eventually not be able to stay there.
