  1. Oh those were the days Sags, these days I am just a bully
  2. I can just see him sitting there, sweat pouring down his face, finger quivering, screaming 'NO NO NO PLEASE, SOMEONE ELSE POST NO NO NO' :D
  3. And playing along nicely too! See, we can all be nice when we want to
  4. Oxygen thieves, pond scum So glad she is ok Warles. You do know why she was targetted though don't you? She is obviously a very nice bitch who is a threat to some lowlife moron. Karma is a wonderful thing.
  5. No, I never realised how much I played a part. I do, however, remember this lady who had a dream, and this lady talked and talked about her dream till one day that dream became real and it made me proud to be a friend of this lady. Julie I truly miss our long phone chats and coffees because while I may have been unaware of any impact I may have had on your dream I think you also may have been unaware of your impact on me. I think I am a better person, in my knowledge and inside, for having known you. And I thank you just for being you and I congratulate you for realising your dream. Not many people do. You certainly are a
  6. Well my avatar says I joined 19/2/03 but I was around long before that. I was around almost at the beginning of DOL but lost my logon during a refurbish of DOL. I remember well those early days, it was such a close knit family back then with such vast knowledge. Now a days it is a much much larger family. Now there is hugely vast bank of knowedge. Yes it gets frustrating when newbies come along and profess to know it all when they really don't but on the whole those newbies just add to the mix in a good way. I have stuck around through thick and thin because DOL really is like a family. I don't post so much anymore but still have a read. Good luck for the awards night, I thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural awards night (especially since I won :D ) and it sounds like it has just grown into a wonderful 'gala' night. Have fun everyone.
  7. Hey, you going to the international state of origin? I have Gold Reserved 'A' seats, can't wait!!!
  8. Yes it rained but not a deluge. The grounds were lovely and green, no mud. Well run show, just a few bits to iron out for next year but well worth another entry next year. Finn was RUBIG and Junior in Group.
  9. yes yes yes, great shows great crew great company. The entries are coming in slowly.
  10. Purple would match my nice new grooming box wouldn't it Mandalay. Purple would match my.... EVERYTHING !! ;)
  11. If the mother has had three c sections then I wouldn't bet on the daughter free whelping. As Sol said, vet on speed dial. I would also be preparing the vet for the due date (especially if it is a Sunday)
  12. You don't mean he is clipped off? Just a tidy up of feathering and a regular brush and bath is all that a goldie needs.
  13. Just have to ask, as you are a registered breeder, why you didn't think to tell this person that ALL papers MUST accompany the dog? If no papers you don't want the dog. At least you would have known, before you got the dog and used him, that there were no papers.
  14. Purple would match my nice new grooming box wouldn't it Mandalay.
  15. Just out of curiousity, what do you need to have done? Just a brush, a tidy up and a bath? Why not get a mobile around?
  16. damn damn damn how come I always miss out Two big ones are enough, I really can't justify getting another just for the colour.
  17. Ummmm, what does she think poodles and spaniels are? They are BOTH gundogs, working dogs, not lapdogs. Tell her to at least do some research before she adds to the dumped dog rate.
  18. I hope you don't think you entered the Brittany?
  19. Me and one foxie. The inaugural dog section and a good entry of 259 yea!
  20. In NSW the rego number MUST be in the catalogue, catalogues are being checked on a regular basis and clubs/cataloguers will get pinged. In Vic, DogsVic don't mind if the baby doesn't have a number yet as long as it is ok with the show sec and the rego IS pending on MAIN register. In NSW a MAIN REGISTERED baby puppy can be shown by a non member. SpikesPuppy, don't keep reading differing opinions here and supposing, RING DOGSVIC, that is the ONLY way you will get the correct answer. But trust me, limited CANNOT be shown, with or without rego numbers.
  21. Not as far as Dogs Vic are concerned.
  22. That may be but, if you were to ring the office and ask, they will tell you that if the show sec agrees then a baby puppy can be shown while it is pending registration (ie, doesn't have a number yet). Just relating my experience with the VCA and what they tell you.
  23. Your puppy MUST be at least main register pending. You don't need to have the rego number to enter shows in VIC if it is ok with the show sec. You do, however, need the rego number to enter shows in NSW.
  24. ;) May take me months to get over that How about you and Micky Workhorse ??? I only had one group so I am ok, mind you it was in the worst conditions. Mickyworkhorse felt it a bit though, bad back. Today is going to be the teller, we have been up since 2.50 this morning watching to make sure the water was going down. We woke up to the house surrounded by about nearly a foot and a half of water as well as our surrounding paddocks. The dog area was high and dry thank god! It has all gone down now. Yerong Creek has got water in it and is actually running. The first time I have seen water in the creek since we moved here 10 years ago!
