I use Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 which I bought off ebay for $42.00. It came with a few other programmes included - MediaOne Plus and Painter Photo Essentials 4. Love Painter Essentials - it "paints" your photos for you. Have attached a head shot that I did from a photo that I took.

I think EP would be the better deal. Lots of lovely green well kept grass with plenty of taps plus there are the shaded judging areas to sit under if it is a bit warm. I can throw in a couple of puppy pens so that people can let their dogs have a rest in them, if they like? Just let me know and I will put them in the car as I will be bringing along my trolley for my two to sit in.

As becks said use a grooming spray or just a spray bottle with some water and a few drops of lavender oil (makes them smell nice). It stops the static and the coat from splitting. Just lightly mist the coat and brush. You may have to spray a few times during brushing due to the hotter weather. Spray bottle can be picked up in Woolies for a couple of dollars.

Oh I will be there with two shelties (one who behaves and one who is naughty, if given the chance :D )

Newfiesrus - can you get another vet to do a scan for you in a week's time? Never had excrement show up in an ultrasound before. Some vets are better at using and reading ultrasounds than others.

All mine are taught to stand and lay on a grooming table from a young age as well. It makes it so much easier. As babies, there is not much coat to groom but as they mature and the coat becomes longer, they are already used to being up on the table to be brushed, feet trimmed, nails cut. As showdog said, be firm and don't overtalk. One of my older girls goes into a semi-coma like state when being groomed, she gets so relaxed, when she stands up she is still floppy

Could he see the dog that was barking at him or only hear him? Can be rather scary when they can hear a dog barking at them but not see them. He has been with you less than a week and all these places, people and noise are all new. I would be calm and talk normally to him and get his attention focused back on you. Am sure as he gets more socialsed with more noises, he will be fine. But don't forget he is just a baby and take it small steps at a time. Each outing and visit should be an enjoyable time for him. You have to be aware of what is happening around you at all times and think ahead. Must say that Banjo is a very handsome young man.

Thanks Sway for the link. Was just in having a look at the entry forms and cost of entries - the only one that would open for me was the conformation entry. All the others just came up blank?? Gee $30 for a single entry or if entering two, it is $26 per entry. If you post your entries, it is a further one off fee of $8.00, if an RAS member cost is $20. Can't tell you what the cost of parking is as I couldn't open that file.

If possible, think I would be taking her to the vet to make sure all is OK and she doesn't have a pup stuck. Good luck and hope they "show up" soon.

Yes morning out at EP might be better than in the afternoon - as Griff said it does getter hotter out there later in the afternoon. There are plenty of taps available for water but if you can bring some shade/umbrellas as there is not much shade.

Yes I can make that weekend - would be great to get some lovely shots of the kids and meet up with some DOLers as well.

I just don't think the pair of you have gone without enough sleep deprivation yet Am sure most bitches wait until your eyes are crossing from lack of sleep before they start to push them out I am normally feeling like a zombie and then they start. Hope all goes well with the impending births

Also don't be afraid to contact breeders out of your area - most will look at people interstate to give a home to our puppies (if they pass the criteria ). I don't keep a list, mainly as I don't breed a lot. When I do breed, it is because I will be keeping a pup to continue my line with and to show. Once I have made my decision, I will then advise by different means, any puppies I have available to loving homes.
