Awwwhh BB they look very healthy and so cute. Sounds like they are all doing well.
-
Teamsnag - my babies are nearly three weeks tomorrow as well but since their dam has heaps of milk, I won't be introducing food until closer to four weeks.
-
Oh Newfiesrus, I am so sorry Never easy to lose any of them. I hope the others continue to thrive. You must be so tired.
-
Hey - no problem. They need to be wormed at 2, 4, 6, 8 etc so if you miss any on the first go, you should get em in the end
-
Teamsnag - I am pretty sure most went down but I think it will be harder to get the next dose down as it will be a larger dose. I thought I might even do it in two doses so that they get most of it. Hopefully by the time they are six weeks, I can just use a tablet form

Uggh worming syrup - I used Drontal last weekend. Bright bloody pink and am sure half was spat back at me Just hope next weekend goes better Think I will be taking the "pig rails" out on the weekend. Since mine are flat, the little buggers are trying to balance on them so won't be long before they try to get over & out. They are rather funny with the rails. They put their front feet on them trying to stand and then do an oopsie Just have to hope they don't lose their balance and fall in it

Sounds like it didn't take the puppy owner long to find a replacement "show dog"? I would have been making arrangements if possible to visit breeder with said puppy and discuss what concerns I had with the breeder first. Wonder if replacement is from one of those critising the pup who is to go back?? Unfortunately some around the ring can be quite soul destroying in their comments on others dogs - some can even say it with a smile on their face while the knife goes in softly

Oh how sweet Mercedes - did you get a photo? If my foundation girl had still been with us, she would be doing the same thing. Just loved babies, even visiting ones. My babies grand dad stands at the side of box just looking and wagging his tail.

Ooohhh you just made it into June Hope all goes well with the babies Gelbregen. Look forward to seeing photos when you have time.

Oh, I haven't even thought about introducing food to them. Probably won't till they are around 4 weeks - they are definately getting very well fed by their mum at the moment. Connor has been up close to touch noses & welcome the grand kids.

Here are some photos - poor little guy nearly got squished by his fat sister

Arnt they funny when they try and bark.. Very cute.. i never thought about putting a tedding in there with them thats a great idea.. anyone got any update photos? Im really enjoying my first litter.. i dont want it to end Yeah, Teamsnag, one barked for the first time the other day and Kitty (their mum) was straight to the box with a look of "what the???" on her face ;)

Mine are just starting to get more interesting by trying to play with each other. Their granddad has had a closer look and I am sure he can't wait till they are old enough and outside so he can play with them. Have put their first soft toy in with them today - a teddy that their mum had as a baby.

Two sleep in crates and the old girl has the run of the house - she can either sleep in my room or on "her" lounge. During the day, some are in runs and others have free run of the backyard when I am at work otherwise they have access to the house when I am home.

Oh Newfiesrus sounds like you have had a rough time. Glad to hear that Poppy is recovering well and looking after her babies. Sorry to hear that she had to be spayed but glad that it wasn't any worse - you may have lost her and the puppies. Hope they continue to be healthy & all goes well.

Oh wow, they are truly magnificent, aren't they? How very lucky to swim with one

Labrador Breeders (and Others) Advice Please
Shelby replied to aussielover's topic in Breeders Community
My girl had an inverted vulva as well but after her first season, it popped out and stayed out. -
My last litter were born on 12th June so nearly three weeks old. Litter was whelped in the corner of my family room. Set up is a whelping box surrounded by a puppy pen. Whelping box is heated and the puppy pen has sheets all the way around to protect from any draughts. Have had the ducted air conditioner zoned to other side of house so no draughts on pups but the warm air flows into that side of the house. I took a full week of leave from work and the last two weeks have done half days to be home to check on puppies and the bitch.

Awww haven't they grown - they look so squishable :D

Hesa - looks like we will just have to sit in the maternity ward waiting room & hope all is going well I have woken up with a bloody sore shoulder - must have slept wrong last night. Can barely move it so won't be driving to work today.
-
Oh good luck - hope all goes well and they all arrive safely

Oh congratulations I told you she would wait until your eyes were hanging out of your head My poor girl gave a couple of screams too when the first one came but was very relaxed for the rest.
