Caboolture Qld. 4510 The show is been held at the AFL grounds on Tuckeroo Dr.Caboolture The Cash and Sash show starts at 10 am with Baby Puppy and Puppy Sweepstakes so it should be nice and warm by then. As ALWAYS we will be supporting the Junior handlers with 1st ,2nd and 3rd Cash and Sash prizes. ;) We have Joan Bennett from N.Z. doing General Specials. I KNOW......WET! ;) I would like to thank all the exhibitors who attended the Caboolture Kennel Club's Shows on Saturday at Caboolture. It was soaking wet and we could not park on the oval , the oval gutters were full of water and mud was the norm . HOWEVER, in true dog show tradition, the show went on . I would very much like to congratulate the exhibitors for their patience and understanding regarding the weather and also a big thanks for leaving the grounds in such a clean state . Once the tents were down and all had left, apart from a few tracks of mud you would not know we had had so many people on the grounds :D ,it was spotless! Thank you! I would also like to thank our judges for their persistence in the rain and their cheerfull and understanding attitudes :D .(MJ) It shows dog people ARE good sports! Thanks All. Would it be ok to send them express post tuesday, tomorrow being a public holiday and all. I didn't realise the entries were still open, I missed sending them before first cut off time That will be fine. Hogz Riesenhaft........ Hi MM I would think you would be better off with an ex large crate for a lab, I use xl for my Boxers, sure they may fit into a smaller one but why not give them a bit of room. Take your dog down to the shop/dealer with you and try them out! Cheers Hogz

HI Aylosha. Just a thought..... have you tried using BOTH at the same time? Put the show lead on AFTER you place the head set on, then try show training with out using force on the show lead, just have it sitting there, then gradually use more pressure on the show lead and less on the head set. It may take some time but it might work. Cheers Hogz

Thanks TT No your right, it's not our fault, we are getting all the excuses under the sun..... But we will continue to do the best we can to provide a good show for our guests. Hi All Please be advised that the Caboolture Kennel Club April Shows HAVE BEEN MOVED. Due to construction delays caused by the rains. The Shows will now be held on the main arena at the CABOOLTURE SHOWGROUNDS. There will be ring side parking on the day. Entry is via gate 3 Beerburrum Rd. Unfortunately the rain has held up the standing and connection of the lighting poles at the new oval so we are unable to hold the shows at that venue. Is it your business or you're just on the links page? Nothing to do with me, Why would that matter? I was told to have a look myself and I rang and spoke to the people there and asked them about there products/pricing etc and they asked if I would mind having my site on there link page as they are a new business. I said that i would be happy to and that I would mention the sight to my friends, which I have done. I think it is a really cool idea, but any way thats my opinion. Cheers Hogz

I put this site up in General Dis. but i think here is a good place also, I was looking at this site and thought what a thoughtful way to keep our mates with us. have a look at the site; www.phoenixashinfusedmemorials.bounce.com.au They take your pets ashes and infuse them in a solid glass Orb, I thought the artwork was great, my favorite was "Angelic " I could see my old mate's ashes infused into one with his name etched into the base of the Orb. 10 points for the Idea! practical and respectful. Yeah, it just seems like a practical thing to do with the Ashes, I mean its ok to scatter them somewhere nice, but if you move or that "nice place" becomes a car park or something then what. I think it is something that would suit me, I would love to have my old boys ashes sitting on the mantel with his pic and his Orb with his title / name and dob etched into the base of the orb. i think it would be good karma as they never really leave you anyway ...do they? Hi Everyone Just a reminder that the Caboolture Kennel Club has a new venue for our April and future shows. The new grounds are The ELIMBAH RECREATIONAL RESERVE Rose Creek Rd Elimbah. Opposite the new Elimbah Railway station. The Amendment is in the March Dog World on page 18. UBD 09 Map 37 R8. As a result of our new grounds, the bar facilities that were advertised in the Show Schedule advertisment is not available, nor is there OFFICAL camping on the grounds. There are showers and toilets available . This will be our first show at our new grounds and we hope that everything will be satisfactory on the day/evening including our new AFL grade lighting.
