I hav been a groomer for the last 10 years and have done many poodle trims the teddy bear cut is great and I love doing it but I love doing any trip on poodle as long a I scissor them .cliping thier bodies for some dog is more practical spiecal if they like to swim in summer

Lassie , Max , Abbie , Moi , Molly , Mitzy and Becky .I miss all my babies so much and know all my angels are playing at the Rainbow Bridge watching over me looking forward to meet me again, when I have to go I want to stay at the Rainbow Bridge with all the aniamls.That would be my heaven. Hoping to find some comfort, in the fact that your not here. I look out into the open field, that you once occupied, Knowing now that field is empty, because my love, you've died. I do believe with all my heart, that your soul has gone to be, Wuth all the other angel dogs, that you were meant to see. We will have to stay behind, until god calls us too So do not be afraid, that he's only called for you. PEOM FOR DOG LOVERS. Hello, I've been expecting you for quite some time. Here,come sit beside us for awhile, and let me tell you about this old friend of mine. She might look tattered or maybe old But I won't say goodbye until you've been told. She had the brightest eyes I had ever seen, And wore a beautiful fur coat that would out shine a queen. She was never prissy but walked with an aire... And so polite, you could take her almost anywhere. She could run like the wind and could catch anything she chased, But she protected and sat with me when I had problems to face. You could not find a friend nearly so dear. Because no matter the troble she always stayed near... She never asked me for much, Just to love and respect her and I'll think you'll agree. To give her a good meal plus a nice warm bed is not much to ask, When she has given me all her love and to her this was no task Now I understand you have a schedule to keep. But I have a small favor befor she nods off to sleep. Please fold your wings around her and let her feel young while in no pain. One of my regulars normaly comes 2 weekly missed 1 vist we it came he body was come pleatly matted she refused to have him cliped and said she would do it her self a week later she brought him back said she had gotten most of it out .she didn't she said your cant clip him it would be crawel I told her if I left it it would be crawel long story short his legs I got out body I used 7 5 and 4 look ok owners where happy The problem is they bye these oodles and beleave they don't lose hair and often bye the from pet shops or people the know nothing about grooming coats people that have jumped on the "disner" band wagon and don't inform them of the health and welfare of these dogs,and they have to learn the had way and as we know some of the never learn.

we get so attacted because they never jugde us unconditional love and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't know how specail we are for we had the luck to know them.Dogs have the bigest hearts in the world thats why we only get such a short time with them thier heart only beats for you and the happieness they brought you, and inturn gave to them. rip jessie and all our 4 legged friends.

I have shih tzu's and three off my dogs have suffered with hot spots I'ld trim the hair around as short as posible and dab it with proxside(4 on human saws)it would dry them up great.although they will leave a bald spot after they have cleared, and some times the hair grows back darker.

remember dogs don't know they have had one so it dose bother them to much when it happens cuddle them close so they are safe talk kindly and watch there toung they don't swollow it normal but just what out for it .my nans dogs was diagnose with epolepsy at a verry young age she is now 14 some times they have had to change the dose ....low sugar can cause them sometimes to even if they r not dietbetic if there has been no other explaination if your dog is a fuss eater and hasn't eaten much and has been very active it could burn thier sugar levels up.ucould try mixing somesugar water and suring a small amount down there throut to bost the levels. malt seem to get sceizers also (still think they r a good breed) but been a dog groomer it seems to be more comon in malts then other breeds

shih tzu' snore all the time they r fine they don't have any breavin' problems i snore to and i'm fine should i see a vet alsoZ?Z ha ha ha

it is a viral dissease like any other diseases we can carry it (chicken pox ,colds) some r catches some r spreeders like colds in people it will strike some people worse than others we(2 feet or 4feet) all have different imunity .i think most poeple will understand that. and if they r vacc. they can still get it just like chicken pox ,measels ,mumps ect,. it just may lesser the case.if you work with alot of dogs the first thing u learn is if a dog coughs susspectlly is to isolate sterolize and send it home asap so u don't infect other aniamls.unfortunetly dogs from the pound can contract it easily if one dog has it the hole kennel is at risk.they could get it for someone walking the dog bye the house.it seems to come out in plage proportion it want be around for months than it can run riot i think it is a good idea to let people know it's out there so we r alittle bit more carful with our pets when it comes out. it is a very comon thing but you can't help feeling so sorry 4 our poor little 1s, it is not a nices thing to have.and you have to be more careful with or old babbies and very young ones. good luck with all the coughs I hope they all feel better soon. and if you r worried consult the vet better be salf then sorry with our babes.....Chelle and the kids.....
