Prepare Yourself For Some Puppy Cuteness
Clastic replied to Kirislin's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Awww.. I think that the photos with their mouths open are cute! I told my partner and he's like "Whippet puppies? Cute? Nah...", then showed him the pics and he totally agrees that they are adorable!! -

OMG!! Whippet puppies are SOOOOOOOO cute!!! -
Ditto, I got the back seat hammack/seat cover. Its got slots so that the seat belt attachment can still come through. I only have a corolla hatch and we have a Border Collie, so he just sits in the back with his harness and seatbelt clipped on. Cover also keeps my back seat cleaner, since Mars gets slobbered on then rolls around in the dirt then jumps in the car and "decorates" the back seat with his puppy paw prints.

How exciting! I didn't get to choose Mars, but still love to him bits!!! Even though he is a bit of a destructo puppy............ Just like Bluefairy Mars was the last of the litter, but as soon as we saw photos of him.. we just couldn't resist! Have fun and hope that you will have pics to show us

What Don't Most People Know About Your Breed?

There are definitely a few Labs where I live that could stand to lose a bit..... -
Oooh exciting! Can't wait for the pics when you get back!! Not long now!!!

Hooray!! Mars used to wake up at all hours of the night and have a bit of a cry. We also have someone in the household that wakes up at 5:30am, so when he hears them wake up he likes to jump up on the side of the bed and give me a big wake up smooch. Now he wakes up between 6:30am - 7am each day, which is horrible on the weekends.. but I guess it gets me outta bed to do stuff! ;) But the main reason for this post was to say..... Yay for Zoe, keep it up! :D

Yes, I stay. Its one of the hardest decisions to make and you question yourself whether you are doing the right thing or not. But we all know that when the time comes, we make the right decision for our best friend even though we hate to see them leave... Its hard to see them depart, but I like to stay with them so that they can be with people that they know and love during that time...

My little fella is 4 months old and doesn't have any interest in his food, but will eat it because well.. he's hungry at the time. Very rarely finishes all his breakfast and dinner depends on the amount of energy he used during the day. He is quite a lean BC, but is also going through his lanky stage at the moment.. but have asked the vet and they are happy with his weight. So I wouldn't be too worried with your little guy, I'd only be getting worried if he doesn't eat anything at all for a whole day (including treats etc)

Would be tough with all the pups. My little guy between 8 weeks to 10 weeks would attack the broom while I swept as well. As soon as he learnt the word 'no' I'd tell him that if he ever tried to pounce and play with the broom. But before that, I wouldn't even attempt to without having him somewhere else or have the OH watch him.

From what they are saying is the dog was previously mistreeated, so I doubt a run away kids was involved Having fleas in the past is hardly an indication of mistreatment. Especially when they go on to say that the dog is "actually quite a healthy little guy". Whoever dumped the dogs is a scumbag, but it's silly to just assume it was the dogs' owners and that the dogs have been mistreated all their lives. I wish news articles would make more sense sometimes.. were there noticable flea bites, thats why they assume he had been mistreated, because they think the owners didn't use prevention? It just makes it sound like, that if my little fella happened to have fleas one day that I've mistreated him. :D Either way, this story is so sad and I sure hope who ever did this gets whats coming to them. No animal deserves to be dumped like that and suffer. ;)

It was before my time on DOL as well, but am just relieved to hear of the news. I just remember hearing about it on the news when it happened and just thought how tragic it was that something like that could happen ;)
