Thanks hesapandabear. I will change her bedding and I think I will spray with fly spray (that says it kills fleas) and also give the pups a bath. I have just been searching the net and found that someone said its safe to wash them with palmovile dishwashing detergent and a gentle kids shampoo. So I think I might try that. Please let me know if its a big no no hehe

Firstly, thanks for all the help so far. I have another question tho The puppies are now (we think) 5 days old and I have noticed they have fleas I dont think I can give them anything this young, but I am no expert ... ? If they are too young, when can I give them something, and what do you reccommend? Doesnt garlic help repel them? Can I give this to the mum and will it help with the pups? Poor things

I realise this is a purebred community, but well, I hope you can give me some advice. My bitsa has just had her first litter of puppies, and I am unsure if there is anything I should be doing. I have created a warm area for her to sleep in, but is there anything else I should do? Thanks for your help
