  1. There aren't enough emoticons to show our joy at this wonderful day being reached and celebrated. :dancingelephant:  :happydance:
  2. Whew, that's taken care of then. Remember - I know who you are IRL !!!!
  3. How exciting, Whitka. I still remember my first puppy from a breeder and visiting her at 4 weeks, sitting on the floor with her pulling at my shoe laces
  4. My first thought was Briard. No matter what, you are in for wonderful times, fun times, loving time. And there are plenty of DOLers ready and willing to share the journey.
  5. And another: http://www.wayfair.com.au/K-and-H-Pet-Products-Lazy-Leopard-Lounger-KP3347-KHPP1006.html
  6. Aren't they. Luckily I have mixed breeds and no room in my cupboards. LOL
  7. Moi ?? Never. There is a set there just for you LOL.
  8. I'm going to add a codicil to my will leaving my girls to you, WM. Don't worry: a trust fund goes with them. :flower:

  10. Deepest sympathies. The loss of our beloved animals is a rough and tough time.
  11. Such a sad and lost time for you, Ruffles. Horrible that his ending was traumatic and that will be awful for you to recall from time to time. Try to take comfort in knowing you did everything humanly possible and that you loved him totally ...... something he would have known to the deepest recesses of his being.
  12. She just wants summer to come around so she can wear her bikini.
  13. Charmers like that aren't worth bothering about. You do what is right for you and Bru.
  14. We could be sisters  I'm glad you have the time to spend with Mac; it will mean so much to you in the future. Apart from that, he is a cool dude to spend time with just snoozing - gives you the excuse to do the same.
  15. You are assuming that hunters actually care about what they are killing.
  16. I'm moving to Adelaide so Mac's Grandma can adopt me and mine  (I'm prob'ly older than Grandma. Do you think that would be a problem, though??)
  17. It can be tough **hugs** to you and your Westies.
  18. Thoughts are with you all, Swazzie.
  19. Oh it is great to see Mac the right way up  That said, from any direction he is a Hunky Handsome.
  20. I have a little plastic bin in the kitchen cupboard by the oven into which go all the scraps. I take it down to the compost heap every two or three days depending on how quickly it gets filled. It never smells, it never attacks flies or other insects. The compost heap is down the backyard in the corner. The dogs never roll or scrabble in it. The possums do though and that makes me happy. I have never understood the difficulties people have with compost heaps or keeping a little scrap bin in the kitchen. I don't use any of the "aids".
  21. That's a relief. I wonder if the person has explored ways in which she could be supported to keep the dogs? Giving them up must be very hard and may exacerbate her ill health. Very sad. Thinking further ..... On the other hand knowing they are in a new and loving home may relieve a lot of stress. Whatever the situation, I wish both the owner and the dogs well.
  22. Deepest condolences, T. Run free, Zeddy. You were totally loved and will be missed. :rainbowbridge:
  23. Great update, WM. Mac is the BEST  (ETA: Apart from Danny, of course :D :D )
  24. With a blue cheese cake ?? I have discovered something else that Danny loves and when I give him a dollop to get him started on his normal food, I think of Mac. What is Danny's latest? Jamie Oliver's Cheeky Cheesy Cauliflower soup.  It is very rich so he gets only very small helpings.
