  1. LOL --- anything to prevent 4am activities.
  2. I read that with tears of relief in my eyes. Definitely thrilling news. Go Pudding
  3. Wishing Pudding all the best. Sounds as though she is in very good hands.
  4. What a shocking harrowing time for you and the doggies. You must be exhausted from the terrifying emotions. Hopefully you will all make a complete recovery.
  5. Huge changes are taking place in a person's body and mind in those years. I know as I am there myself (except for the fit part ). Lots of people fall off the twig between the ages of 65 and 75, people you would think would go on forever. I'd be sending him to the doctor. Don't forget there are huge numbers of assistance dogs now for people who suffer from all sorts of medical issues whereby the dogs senses if that person is going to have an episode.
  6. Still the personality boy . I was awakened this morning by Danny teetering on the edge of the bed, desperate to go to the toilet, but frightened of the height. Mumma to the rescue. Nothing gets me out of bed faster than Danny needing help.
  7. No advice, just want to say good luck with your new little dog. You sound super caring and committed and well on top of all that is necessary. No dog could ask for more.
  8. A friend of mine sent me a newspaper from Cunnamulla where I lived for a couple of years as a child. The house we lived in was a great big Queenslander and the house today, all renovated, is for sale at $285,000 !! Yes indeed. How is our Wonder Westie?
  9. That photograph is totally wonderful, WM. A day to be remembered indeed.
  10. I've found that the only food I can rely on for giving tablets to my Danny is Kraft Cream Cheese Spread - not the Lite one though as that doesn't have any flavour. On the occasions when Danny does turn his nose up at this, I just smear it on the roof of his mouth and because it is thick by the time he tries to get it out, he has swallowed it all.
  11. Isn't it just! Beautiful. And the model would be the star of any catwalk.
  12. If I'd known you were having troubles, I'd have added a lot more  I imagine Mac has been doing a lot of this after all the excitement
  13. There aren't enough emoticons to show our joy at this wonderful day being reached and celebrated. :dancingelephant:  :happydance:
  14. Whew, that's taken care of then. Remember - I know who you are IRL !!!!
  15. How exciting, Whitka. I still remember my first puppy from a breeder and visiting her at 4 weeks, sitting on the floor with her pulling at my shoe laces
  16. My first thought was Briard. No matter what, you are in for wonderful times, fun times, loving time. And there are plenty of DOLers ready and willing to share the journey.

  18. Aren't they. Luckily I have mixed breeds and no room in my cupboards. LOL
  19. Moi ?? Never. There is a set there just for you LOL.
  20. I'm going to add a codicil to my will leaving my girls to you, WM. Don't worry: a trust fund goes with them. :flower:

  22. Deepest sympathies. The loss of our beloved animals is a rough and tough time.
  23. Such a sad and lost time for you, Ruffles. Horrible that his ending was traumatic and that will be awful for you to recall from time to time. Try to take comfort in knowing you did everything humanly possible and that you loved him totally ...... something he would have known to the deepest recesses of his being.
