  1. Thanks for that heartening news, jemappelle . We need more good news and news of communities rallying to help those in need. Well done Nowra RSPCA and community.
  2. So glad I decided to have a scroll through DOL and FB before going to bed. I was shocked when I read that the search had been called off. The power of social media works for good probably more often than we know. Happy dreams, now, Brooklyn. I hope someone has given you and your daddy a bed for the night.
  3. I saw the photos on FB yesterday. I hope they have success today.
  4. Oh, Sarsa. A golden boy, indeed - so beautiful. Deepest condolences.
  5. Not necessarily. We all have different reactions to certain things. Hope all still goes well and Anna is getting better
  6. Oh goodness, WM!! How I can relate. So glad you have this ESP as to what will help Mac.
  7. Prayers by the million, Westiemum. Little Mac always in my thoughts.
  8. Just use this time as cuddle time, Sarsa. Your darling boy will be happy just being with you and not having to do anything except be close. I’ve been thinking about this and believe I am wrong. Monday to Thursday is too long for you and Anna to wait. Ring again and say it is urgent. There must be a 24/7 emergency vet in your area?

  10. Good on that vet. It is hard on you and probably Anna not having her with you, but after what she has been through a couple of extra days of enforced rest is probably for the best.
  11. OMG - I have just scrolled through Dogs in Heaven on Earth. Canetoad, you are one wonderful doggy daddy
  12. I follow a buy/sell/swap page on FB and someone posted a baby carriage ...... I was tempted for Danny because he doesn’t want to come out walking much anymore. Problem is that, once I get him going (snail’s pace), he enjoys himself. Hope Mac is better tonight.
  13. How gut wrenching to still not know. How come they told you she had a tumour and the vet said it wasn’t good looking mass? Very confusing and upsetting for you and Anna. I hope you get some answers and Anna can be well again.
  14. Believe it or not, I immediately thought of a rigid pole with a bit of lead on it so the dog could be better controlled ----- and there it is, already thought of and designed.
  15. Looks like it. The colour of the water - absolutely blissful.
  16. So gorgeous. How many calendars can one person have :o . So many I can’t resist
  17. A bite of some description (the sleeping made me think of that). Poor Anna, poor you. Hopefully you will get some answers soon. Do you have any nutrigel on hand? Squeezes out of a tube and you can just rub it into her mouth so she is getting some nutrition. Good luck.
  18. Such a big aching hole in your heart, kirty. Hugs to you and yours.
  19. Gosh there are so many that are better than that, but still shows the amazing colours of the Australian outback.
  20. My first thought. How wonderful, though. I hope the young man remembers this encounter with pleasure. He will probably be looking out for Norty Jake now.
  21. Thanks, canetoad. I have applied to join the group and then can ask if there are any calendars left. Hope so :crossfingers:
