Extraordinery on all counts: that the little dog hadn't been killed immediately by being chomped and the pits were able to guard him until mum arrived. I suppose all their instincts to save one of their kind kicked in when they heard the little dog scream. Wonderful. I bet they were given some special treats that day !!

Thankyou, appreciate this When I adopt mine, I will go to Cassie's breeder . They'd have to have a retired stud or bitch because I wouldn't have the energy for a pup.

Beautiful photos.

If she is a pup, you'd hate to think that she would lie quietly at your feet the whole time

Hmmmm don't know what to say about that that won't get me into trouble, unless of course he has 15 dogs. :D

Lovely to see more lovely natured big dogs making an appearance.

You'll have to start a thread when you get your White Fluffy, Dogluva. I was pretty chuffed, Persephone. There are also a couple of Belgian Shepherds in the neighbourhood, too. I don't know where they live, but I've seen them being walked a few times. My little dogs are so naughty (now matter how much I shorten their leads and tell them to be quiet) and these dogs are so well behaved, just trot on by without a break in their step or a hint of reaction to mine.

What a lovely story. I think you will have to arrange the occasional date for Lady. Not too many, we don't want to exhaust her. -

Tango Made A Big Breakthrough - Updated
Loving my Oldies replied to spottychick's topic in General Dog Discussion
Oh dear s/chick. You'll have to gather all your Tango and Pepper threads together one day and edit them into book form. I can almost smell the cows and see your knee splat in a cow pat Tango has come out the other end a wonderful dog and as you say, Pepper is amazing. When I finish reading your posts, I find I have just the biggest smile on my face -
Absolutely I hope you explained this, Aunty Vi.

I've just heard on the radio that the young woman who stabbed her sister to death has herself been found dead in her cell. I couldn't hear anything else. All I could think of is the unspeakable pain the parents must be suffering. :D Tears aren't enough.
