  1. Yep: kitty snoozing on the keyboard here as well.

  3. Switched on the radio this morning and what is the discussion !!! http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/lifematters/old-dogs3a-loving-and-ageing/4406394
  4. Amazing - three years old. What wonderful dogs. What a wonderful mum
  5. Prize winning work, Kirislin. The first shot in Post #8 is just brilliant.
  6. Well obviously he is not at fault. The treat was being held too far away for his little body to reach.
  7. I have low window sills and I did have one rescue dog who went through the catflap in my bedroom. I am happy to shut my dogs out (I have a vey large back yard as well as a vey large covered deck) for a few hours, but they would not cope - and neither would I expect them too - for longer than that. Whilst I don't entirely go along with the dictum " my house my rules ", I would be pretty bristly about someone coming into my house and telling me what to do.
  8. Ha ha ha - love the thinking. Ain't this the truth These people aren't just visiting for a couple of hours; they plan on staying. Your mother sounds a bit, umm, not quite there. Love your Christmas present to her. GSDowner, I think you need to have a talk to your brother and suggest he and his wife make alternative accommodation arrangements. I am curious as to why he called the house "our house" as well. If indeed he does own part of it, there could be a problem. But seeing that you live there, I think he is being unnecessarily confrontational.
  9. He sounds like a true gentleman: wants to be correctly dressed.
  10. "Intimate" is not quite the word, Jerry Lee [Lewis??] . I read, I listen, I have been in the world a long time. The underworld seems like. DD are you gunna pop up in the next series of Underbelly? Back to the topic...gobsmacked...just sickening Jeez, Stan's Mum. How did you guess? I auditioned, but the belly was too upfront.
  11. Umm, what was the topic again? Germany is to ban sex with animals. I doubt they'd be bringing in legislation just for a couple of people. It's called bestiality and has been around since animals became human. And animals didn't wake up one morning and find they were human. Took a year or two or millions.
  12. "Intimate" is not quite the word, Jerry Lee [Lewis??] . I read, I listen, I have been in the world a long time.
  13. Poor you. I hope you have air con. Too ghastly outside.
  14. Are we twins separated at birth ?? Nope, we are triplets separated at birth.
  15. Gosh, Mita. Your vet needs to develop a bit of a poker face. You must have been terrified!
  16. Good luck. Hope it is nothing serious and Zoe is just a bit out of sorts.
  17. Well you know what waiting did last time.. I would be out there on their doorstep. What for? Glemhaith is second on the list and will be contacted if the dog can go to her. Just ease up on all the criticisms about this dog. The bossiness about who should do what in this thread has been astounding and very off putting. I am surprised Glemhaith has hung around at all! Read the whole thread again and see the stuff-ups that have gone on at the pound. That's why I'd be there. Nothing to do with the people here. Well you had the chance funny I am sitting up on the QLD border I was never in the bidding - LOL. Congratulations
  18. Please explain? Are there words of 1/2 a syllable? Hmmm. I may be a little slow, but I didn't realise Australia was exporting sheep for sexual purposes. Well countless reports show that we have next to no control as to what happens to them at the other end. Your posts on this topic disturbing ....to say the least. It is a disturbing topic.
