  1. ... with Steve and her husband? Oooh, now that's a thought. Might just be put off by the doggy sighs though.
  2. Forget the b***dy dog sighs! I want some "adult cuddles" :D :D
  3. In the past month, I have had two of my dogs diagosed with URTI. Firstly Jeune who seemed to recover very quickly on AB and then Bunter who after nearly five days of AB is still coughing, though no nearly as frequently. This evening, I went downstairs and found three sicks in the back yard and I am 100% sure it came from Jeune as she is they only one I have seen chewing on the violets (not native, but they grow self seeded around the place) and there was a lot of violet greenery in the sick. And just a little while ago, I heard her doing a bit of a raspy cough Jeune is large Chihuahua of approximately 10 years of ago. Bunter is a Pomeranian x Corgi (I think) of approximately 10 years of age. My uncertainty is because they were both adopted from pounds. Naturally if Jeune isn't well tomorrow, I will take her to the vet, but just wondered if anyone else has had this experience.
  4. HarperLee on this forum has a dog with DI. I believe her dog Kisho is on constant medication. Send her a PM and I am sure she would be happy to tell you her experiences.
  5. I would need to say hi to this guy! I've just noticed his little shaved patch . Must have need vax for his travels. Percyk -
  6. What a glorious looking dog Inka was. Does Keesha look like her? Your memorial was lovely, Inka3095, and moving. When the time is right (whether for you or your mum) a dog will find you. Goodbye Inka.
  7. Don't take any notice of him, mum. Those photos are priceless.
  8. My groomer is literally 50 metres down the road from me and I pass them several times a day when walking mine and driving out from my street. Apart from the fact that next time I take any of my dogs, I will be telling them of Buddy's tragic story, I will also be asking them a few questions to ensure dogs are never left unattended on grooming tables. I do recall being there once to book my dogs in and one of the groomers was in the middle of clipping a tethered dog, she said to ring me later as she couldn't leave the dog. As she was only a metre away from the counter where the diary was, I think this is a pretty fair indication that they never leave dogs unattended, no matter what, but I will be 1000% checking.
  9. Brilliant idea I am sure there is a Boxer Rescue Group
  10. Could it be the "snuffling" LOL?? Sort of serious question. I think it really is the noises. And the fact their eyes are often looking in all sorts of weird directions  LOL, glad I'm not as silly as I sounded
  11. Maybe something he is putting out. Dogs rely so much on instinct. Have you been walking with him and Roxy? Could it be the "snuffling" LOL?? Sort of serious question.
  12. I don't have any solutions for you, but I am sure a qualified person would be able to pick up the signs that Roxy is sending out. In my small pack, I have had a couple of dogs who desperately wanted to play, but were absolutely ignored and if they pushed the point were snapped at. It makes me sad. Sometimes dogs choose another dog to play with and that dog is it and no matter what enticements in terms of wagging, bowing, face licking, etc, another dog offers, they don't get a look in. I guess it is like some people. Some have "it" others don't. Hopefully someone will be able to give you some pointers because I do understand how painful it can be to know that your dog's happiness is not complete.
  13. It is very hard to understand, Caz. Your head and heart must be in turmoil.
  14. Ha ha, you are so right about the giraffes. I went back to have another look.
  15. Gosh, those front on pix are definitely reminiscent of BT, but what else I couldn't say.
  16. What is wrong with people . The poor dog was injured in their care. I just don't get it.
  17. Too true and I was one of those people who thought my dogs (Maltese and a long time ago) looked great with regular brushing. First trip to the groomer and they had to be completely shaved their coats were so matted next to the skin. I still have the photographs When I worked and had the money, my dogs were groomed fortnightly.
