  5. Lovely looking dog. I know you can't really tell from a photo, but she does seem to be good natured too - she seems to have a spring in her step. :) :)
  6. OsoSwift, sadly there will be shonky operators in every profession, from huge multinationals down to the grass roots providers of a service. I guess, in the final analysis, you have to do the best you can and market yourselves accordingly. There are those who, like yourselves, want to be able to sleep soundly at night, and there are those at the other end of the scale don't care. It is the way things are and those of us who do care have to continue to be vocal in anyway we can. I can totally understand how angry and frustrated you must be when events happen that tar the industry with the same brush.
  7. Yep, Tamar is one of them. Walks up and down me in bed. I always thought she was looking for the spot that suited her the best, but obviously she was fulfilling her role as a Maltest Shiatsu Dog. Well done, Tamar.
  8. Unfortunately, the business of suing is now big business and has gone to ridiculous lengths when a householder can be sued by a robber who is hurt while robbing the house . However, when something like this happens, I think it is more about making a point and trying to ensure that others don't suffer the same. And, most importantly, it is about ensuring someone takes responsibility for a tragedy that should not have happened.

  13. They are stunners, Koala. You have really pulled out all the stops to get these two through . They have such intense stares as though they are trying very very hard to take in everything you are saying and doing. Too sad about Narla. Hugs to her carer.

  17. That's fine by me if it can prevent any newcomer who has come to the forum for advice being castigated and conescended to by others.
  18. LOL. I have to confess that I didn't look at the offer in detail Minimax as I am not in the market for collars at the moment. I bought ones embroidered with my dogs' names and my phone number just last year. However there are regularly threads about them, so I thought they might suit someone's needs. Pugs and Dachies are just a bit different :D :D
