Reba's and your puppies are beautiful, SLF. Non breeders cannot post on the Breeders Forum and rightly so. However, many of us follow with interest and awe and hope the stories you all tell us. Those two weeks after Reba was bitten by the snake must have seemed an eternity of agonised waiting for you. Just waiting overnight for results on tests for those we love can be bad enough. You are doing an amazing job; I wish I wasn't so far away ---- although I might be more of a hindrance than a help :D . More strength to you and Reba. -
Would You Say Something?

I find it quite upsetting that he would say that, especially the "fat chance" part. It's always good to get other quotes and do a bit of shopping, but if that's what it costs, I would not hesitate if I thought my dog was in pain or her health was in jeopardy. Some people shouldn't own dogs. Oh god, that poor dog. I know it is a huge amount of money, but how can you leave an animal in that situation. -
One If My Dogs Has Been Hospitalised

I haven't looked at this thread for a few days (I'm chicken :D ), I've been so worried, but decided to be brave and what do I see. Great news. You go Astro - mummy and your family need you. Great news, Rascal. Hopefully it is all up and up from now on. What a little fighter your beautiful boy is. -
Makes me feel sick to think of the despair at losing pets like that. I hope Millie turns up somewhere. Totally OT, but the woman's incredibly blue eyes !! So beautiful.

Would You Say Something?

It would be nice to think so, but that can be far from the case as I know from first hand experience with people in my neighbourhood. Yes, definitely say something, please. The dog will be or soon will be suffering, if not pain, a deal of discomfort. -

Even a winner needs cheering and support And SLF and Reba still need plenty: SLF posting today: "They were so weak yesterday and found it so tiring to suckle. Hopefully today is a better day. " I wish I could physically help. Any DOLers in SLF's area who could provide some assistance? -

Keep those healing and support vibes flowing everyone. Reba, SLF and puppies are doing it tough -
That's just devastating news . Poor Laura. You have captured such precious memories.

Thanks for doing this, kelpiecuddles. I think the positives have far outweighed the "forum police" in the first few threads.  -

Is there no end to this young lady's talents. Ninja Nurse Neko now. So relieved to read that Feather seems to be over the worst. The prospect of movies and nana naps sounds very appealing - perfect for convalescing. -
I watched the movie on tv tonight and it was quite enjoyable. But to study it for Year 12 Literature .

When Tirra was killed, a lovely lovely person sent me a tall scented candle with a picture of Tirra embedded in it. Needless to say, I've never burnt the candle, but it stands on the bookcase in my study. Generally, there is no scent emanating from the candle, but every so often the perfume fills the room. I no longer shed tears, but my heart sure aches.

Oh, this is amazing. SLF thought she was going to be fortunate to have 2 healthy pups and now Reba has popped out 6!! Will be constantly checking to see if there are any more LOL. -

What a relief, K. Hopefully she will just sleep the night through and you can recharge the batteries too. Stiff scotch or, if you don't drink, lots of sweet tea and naughty biscuits. -
The best photos are those of dogs having fun in the water.

Me too - checked a couple of times every day. -
That is inexpressibly sad . My Tirra was past 16 (Chi X Pap) when he was killed by a foster dog. I think of him every day over 5 years later. I met a few times some years ago a Mini Poodle 22 years old, but she was in such a state that it was cruel to keep her going . And my own Toy Poodle was just shy of 20. So yes, some pretty long lived dogs around today.

WOW!! How absolutely fantastically marvellous!! I hope SLF knows that so many people who can't post in her thread in Breeders have been following her story and Reba's progress with hope in our hearts. Wonderful wonderful news. What a strong girl Reba must be. Congratulations SLF and Reba. Now for photos -
