  1. What better place ..... in loving arms. Happy happy Gotcha Day, Basil and Stellnme
  2. K, no way could you be a dag. You have exquisite dogs, you make beautiful beautiful collars and leads, you take the most amazing photographs. .... but you are still going to be reported to the RSPCP. Looking forward to the updated collar photo of tag. How amazing that a fellow DOLer has one. Perrin
  3. But that is what they have been doing since Day 1. You'd have to be enamoured of death and killing to work there.
  4. Horrible. Caught very quickly as it doesn't look engorged. Keep us posted.
  5. That's interesting. I wonder if it has a smell. Plastic does give off nasties that we aren't even aware of .
  6. My wire crate (purchased some years ago from Vebo Pet Trading) is 43D x 50H x 600W. It would fit both yours and a couple of spares, Donatella. I have a soft crate too, but that was to get Gussy used to sleeping on the bed again surrounded by dogs. It's virtually impossible to see in it, but it worked for that purpose. For dogs to be separated and yet within the family, I'd go for wire. Heavy though, even the small ones.
  7. I have a small crate in my garage, I'll go and measure it, but if don't get back, ring 000 as I will have drowned. Donatella, I have found these dividers worth their weight in gold. I use them to block the hall way, entrance to rooms, etc etc.
  8. It's Denali's fault :D :D :D http://www.templeandwebster.com.au/felli-pets/pamper-your-pets/night-swimming-pet-crate-cover.html http://www.templeandwebster.com.au/felli-pets/pamper-your-pets/bleeker-street-pet-crate-cover.html http://www.templeandwebster.com.au/felli-pets/pamper-your-pets/your-hand-in-mine-pet-crate-cover.html
  9. RiverStar-Aura, I am certain that is the case in probably 99.9% of cases.
  10. That man belongs in a mental asylum. He delights in death. I can't accept that. For sure, systems exist, but staff should be standing up for the rights of animals in their care. Just make sure your will is up to date and you have SPECIFIC instructions in it for your dog.
  11. That is the whole point, JRT Rescue. They KNOW UNEQUIVOCALLY that there are plenty of rescue groups who would willingly take dogs and cats, but for decades, they just won't do it. That is why I say that they are verging (if not there) psychopathic.
  12. OMG, that is just so sad. I can attest to meeting one at the vets the other day who was like that. Totally the owner's fault. These dogs get like that because they are treated like little toys instead of like dogs. So so sad. On the other hand, I've met many who are not like that. I am glad that Jane was able to point you in the right direction. Good luck to you and your two gorgeous dogs.
  13. Where are you in Qld, Stitch? There is a vet at Kedron, I think, who people rave about. She used to be mentioned a lot in the Rescue forums, but I can't remember her name. DOLer Ams who used to rescue Shar Pei would know.
  14. . More than this. The trainer is a danger. : Fortunately, StressMagnet came onto to DOL and was able to hear from dog owners who live in the real world. Think of the damage that so-called trainer is doing to other people and their dogs.
  15. I came looking for this because of StressMagnet's post in the Dear .... thread. BigDaz needs a name change to BigSilly  Love your work, HazyWal
  16. WHY WHY WHY ???? There is enough information on the internet for people to know how terrible they are. Why are they still supported and in business? The questions are rhetoric because I know the answers. Someone is paying someone. My heart just breaks for all the lost little souls who have been killed by those horrible horrible people.
  17. Click on Members up at the top of the screen, type in esky (no capital letter) and on the left hand side of the screen are all sorts of options one of which is to send her a pm. Good luck.
  18. DOL - always educational   I like going against the grain as well. I used to have a red outfit and take delight in wearing bright pink lipstick ...... K, I'd be checking up on Steph M, Roova and BC Crazy. They are all trying to get you back in business. :D :D
  19. There is a DOLer called esky who specialises in Pekinese - has several of her own and posted brilliant photographs of them over the years. Maybe contact her as well.
  20. LOL, another here who is really interested in your report once Jane has visited. Re Angel Lucy: she will be picking up on your vibes and body language of newly found assertion
  21. I have to confess that I've not tried any of the other remedies ---- went straight for a little tablet: valium. Of all the dogs who have shared my house, only Myrtie was afraid of storms and a little bit of valium (1/4 tablet as she was tiny) saw her back to normal within about 20 minutes even if the storm was still raging. Good luck Kamuzz. It is horrible watching a frightened dog running around the house looking for you and/or somewhere to hide
  22. It is just after 9am - shouldn't have tried ETA - can't attach a video.
  23. There have been a few more since . I decided to give the big cans of Nature's Gift a try - two different flavours ..... would not touch it. So looks like it is the little cans. Sigh. Thanks Danny, I guess if I am not exactly frugal, I can't expect you to be LOL.
  24. At the excavation antics. Hopefully they'll find buried treasure for you, Yonjuro.
