  1. I've had my black dog treat bag for about 3 years and use it daily no problems here, maybe the one you had was faulty and it would be worth contacting them.
  2. Yep we use the natural hard set one with the acidopoulous in it, you can get if from Coles/Safeway. You can also freeze it inside the kong as a treat for hot days as well Bully your dog is spoilt Mine are outside while I type this as I don't want them getting any ideas
  3. No clubs I know of track over the warmer months because of the dangers of snakes.
  4. That's when you head for the hills It slows them down a bit
  5. Wolfgirl, can you remember where you got your harnesses from? They were from a pet shop in the city, they are made by Sporn and called Sports Harnesses. Back again WG - there are no sports harnesses on the Sporn page that I can find. Could yours be Black Dog perhaps? No Tag has Sporn on it Wish I had of kept the packaging it came in now to see if it had details of the Company.
  6. I have always taught all my dogs the left and right turn commands, this comes in very handy when biking
  7. Wolfgirl, can you remember where you got your harnesses from? They were from a pet shop in the city, they are made by Sporn and called Sports Harnesses.
  8. Ah finally found the photo I was looking for, these are sports harnesses I bought a little while ago, very light and don't restrict movement in the dogs at all, very comfy but also very strong. For biking them I find these harnesses the best I have used so far.
  9. Love the walkydog attachments A handy hint also is to teach the left and right turn commands to your dogs, mine all learn that from puppies and while riding I just tell them which way I want to go I train my on walky dogs to get ready for ET and also a couple of times throw in the running on lead beside the bike when on the reserve. Start off slowly and build their endurance up and try to go over as many surfaces as possible, it's a great way to keep them in shape and the dogs love it
  10. Anne my heart goes out to you, the love you and Sophie have shared is timeless. God Bless Sophie We are all here if you need us and very much in our thoughts, please take good care of yourself my friend Sophie would want that for you :D
  11. I'm afraid that I don't know as I have never purchased these collars from them. Just happen to remember seeing them on the website when I was ordering something else. Have ordered a few martingales from this site and so far over the last year they still look new and are very hard wearing and I give them the on price and quality
  12. Good luck at the vets tomorrow Phoebe IR I am sure it is nothing to worry about.
  13. Erny Congratulations he is absolutely divine So very pleased for you
  14. Just dropped in to see how Sophie was doing and so happy to hear she has picked up Anne Anne you have done an amazing job with Sophie and I honestly think you are right on track with the Oncologist. Unless you are prepared to do it their way with conventional medicine they can't understand where you are coming from :D There is alot to be said for these methods and if it wasn't for a natural product I would still be suffering flares with my Lupus but I haven't had one for 9 months and that is a first so trust your instinct and go with the alternatives, you know Sophie better than the Oncologist and what is best for her I was so lucky that our specialist when seeing Max again was amazed at the results we had with natural and alternative medicine and supported us all the way. It is hard enough to go through something like Cancer with your dog without people bringing you down Sophie and Anne you Sorry to hear about your Black Eye Just tell everyone it is the new shade of eye makeup
  15. Oh Anne I am so sorry to read your last post :p You and Sophie are very much in my thoughts ;)
  16. Good luck for today Sophie and Anne, will keep very positive thoughts that the tests are good
  17. Yep they love every kind of sport My boy herds and has just done his Endurance Title he does Obedience and also Pet Therapy. As long as they have a job to do and their mind and body are stimulated they will be happy. I think the trick is to try one sport and find what they really enjoy before going onto the next. Sorry can't help with any ideas in WA but I'm sure there will be people from your area able to help you. Also Obedience clubs are a great source of information
  18. Sorry to hear you need to start thinking about this and I agree with the others, you just know it's like an inbuilt feeling and the sparkle goes out of their eyes, our pets just don't live long enough
  19. Kelpie-i I would be interested in this for Bear, as you know he was the most placid and easy going dog when we were training with you but since he has been attacked he can be quite fear aggressive with dominant males. I have worked with him and he was really good but each time he sees a large male dominant mastiff type dog it sets off the trigger for him again. I have alot of faith in you and know that this would be very well orchestrated so if you are looking for volunteers I would definitely love to find out more.
  20. Oh my gosh I just read this, I am so sorry for your loss, he was a beautiful boy RIP Spike
