Electronic Entry Forms Program, I Lost Mine
MellG replied to MellG's topic in General Dog Discussion
Thanks Guys!!! -
Hi All We had some major IT upgrades done last week and I have lost my program that allows me to do my entries on the computer and then print them off for posting, I have no idea what it was called but it was emailed to me orginally and was a great little program. I was hoping a kind DOLer might have a version of this program they could send me? Cheers Mell

As metioned if CCCQ was so concerned about improving the breeds they would be focussing on the large numbers of litters being produced for cash not improvement by the puppy farmers, I am all for signing a petition. I love how they make these decisions with out consulting their members.

This is such crap, I was looking forward to getting my neutered boy back in the ring

Livamol is a dietry supplement most commonly used with horses, it is based on high omega oils and other vitamins/minerals aimed at coat and skin condition. Its great stuff I have used it with both horses and dogs with fantastic results
-
If it was an Amstaff then the colour would be a seal
-
LOL well I had a surgical AI done yesterday, so maybe its a bit premature but fingers crossed we have babies due the 1st of December also..

It was a great morning, the club did a fantastic job, and the track was just great. We were thrilled that both of our guys did it with ease, I think we over did the training as both of them just wanted to run and were not impressed at having to simply trot along. The 2am start nearly killed me to drive up to Nanango, but it was well worth the drive, and I will admit to a huge Nanna nap when we got home!!
-
Hi All Just wondering if any fellow QLD DOLers are entered in the Nanango ET test on Sunday? We will be there with our 2 Amstaffs, praying that our training over the last few months has been enough, and more so I will be hoping that I personally can survive the 20ks on a push bike If any of you who have completed your tests already in NSW or VIC have any pointers or tips, I'm all ears!!! Cheers Mell

MellG - Amstaff/Nudie - Ipswich Dog Club July 4th? MellG's OH - Amstaff/Koda - Ipswich Dog Club July 4th?

Hi I'm hoping there might be some Instructors or experienced trialers who may be able to do some private lessons for a struggling newbie looking to trial. I am a member of my local club, but feel I could really benefit from some private lessons - more to rebuild my confidence then anything else and to really cement the foundations etc. Long story and happy to provide details to who ever is happy to take me on as a project lol. I'm in the Ipswich area but willing to travel up to say 30 minutes in any direction. Happy to pay a reasonable fee for your time. Cheers Mell

Excellant!! look forward to seeing you there, I train everyweek, hoping to trial both my Amstaffs this year, I'll be the oen looking frustrated and overwhelmed by my brindle male... he is currently driving me insane and as such wont be attempting his first trial next month as I think we need ALOT more work together. But My girl & I will hopefully have a succesfull attempt at our first CCD trial in March. -
Obedience Classes In Toowoomba Qld
MellG replied to ownedbyamstaff's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Might be a bit far for you, but it is half way between Toowoomba and Brissy which you mentioned, I'm a member of the Ipswich Ob Club, and they are just fab!! they meet on Wednesday nights, the grounds are not even 5 minutes off the Warrego highway. -
I spoke to a good friend who aside from being a breeder is also an owner of several health food and organic food stores. She has never, ever heard of Flax seed oils causing fertility issues, and uses it regularly in her own and her dogs diets. So I am not going to panick for now
-
WOW okay after googeling extensively I can find nothing that supports the idea that Flaxseed can hinder fertility, in fact alot of sites recomend it for improved fertility in humans. Can anyone provide documentation that supports the idea that it can cause issues? I will buy some fish oil and add this in conjunction, I have capsules but find them finicky so straight oil is easier for me to add to their feed, how much would I need to add for it to be considered a blend? should it be equal amounts?
-
Thanks Poodlefan! So what other oils should I feed in conjunction with the Flaxseed oil? At the moment they are getting a desert spoon at night in their barf mince. The greenpet supplement includes kelp in the mix, Sun is a tuff one as they do need to spend time out side when I am at work, but generally from mid afternoon and weekends they are inside with me. I will get stricter with myself and increase to daily grooming. Is it okay for them to get rinsed off in cold water once a day? I run them 5km a day as we are training for our Endurance test in June, at the end of the run, they jump in the shower and get a cooled off in cold water, this shouldn't effect the coat should it? I used to have show horses, and find it frustrating that I can't re produce the same level of shine in my dogs as I did on my show hacks, still learning the tricks of the trade I guess!
-
I have just started my guys on flaxseed oil about 2 weeks ago, (from the health food store and kept in the fridge) How long did it take for you guys using it to see an improvement in the coat? both of my guys have okay coats, but I am really trying to shine up a red coat on an Amstaff which apparently is impossible to do, but I'm determined to try!! The rest of their diet is Barf based, with greenpet supplements. Overall they are in good health but I want that shiney red coat before the specialty in April LOL if any one else has suggestions for a red staffy type coat I'm all ears LOL

LOL I haven't heard of Tony, is he any good?

Hi All My phone got stolen on Friday, so I have lost all my contacts phone numbers. Does any one have the phone number for Trevor the Chiro based in Lowood QLD? Cheers Mell
