  1. That is not the point here. And your going Saturday why??
  2. Do what I do if you get caught with a judge who wants to talk. Give short answers and don't ask questions, and keep your eyes on your dog. Clothes, well it depends on your dog. I wore tracky pants with my border as she didn't like jeans but with my golden it doesn't matter. I tend to wear jeans if the weather is ok, if its wet and muddy I wear tracky pants as they don't hold the rain like the jeans do. As long as the clothes are clean in the morning (because if your dog is like mine that don't always stay clean) then that's the main thing.
  3. Don't have a converstation at the starting peg. A) Judges don't want to hear everything about you and your dog, can you imagine how long it would take for then to judge if everyone did that and b) Your dog will loose concentration while its sitting there and your not paying attention.
  4. Don't get angry at your dog in the ring. Your dog will remember it. Dogs are not robots and therefore make mistakes sometimes.
  5. Practice your about turns without a dog so you get your footwork right. Well thats what someone told me to do and now everyone thinks I have good about turns!
  6. I've had my black dog one for years and years and was still going until the pesky pup of mine chewed the bottom... Am now onto my 2nd one which have had for a year now with no problems.
  7. Its looking to be a good day. Everything is under control and looking like a smooth day What class did you enter dogdude?
  8. Hi There, Werribee hold a double obedience trial every year in October. Normally the 4th weekend of the month. Personally I think it’s a great trial to go to but then again being the trial secretary I could be a bit biased... As Kallistar said above our schedule is put up on our website each year. Renee
