  1. Hmm might have to try and get down to the TT specialty, that sure would be a sight to behold! I will be at the Lhasa Apso specialty tomorrow (Friday) at EP, and Saturday we have the Keeshonds (also EP)
  2. I had no end of problems with Eagle Pack - my dogs thought they were starving to death. No bad experiences with Artemis, except it was still messing up my sensitive tummy boy. And he was still hungry, but the more I gave him, the worse it went through him. Won a sample of Nutro Lamb & Rice, and suddenly he was heaps better. So I am now trying him on that for a while, to see how it goes.
  3. Dont have a hyrdobath do you? Always a good spot to do stuff when the dog cant get away. I also just put my dogs up on the grooming table, grab a handful of scruff, and the ear in one hand, whip the drops out in the other, and go. But all but one of my dogs have coats to hang on to. The Amstaff can be a two person job. BUT if I have to do stuff on my own, he goes in the hydrobath.
  4. We laid pavers in our runs, and then used a cement powder, swept into the cracks and hosed down. Worked well for us. And was easy to lift when we had to move it.
  5. And it would seem some have little lids on them
  6. The spot without a point may look like this
  7. Our anchor points have all been either on the back parcel tray (sedan) or behind the back seat (wagon). Some cars they are not fitted, and you have to buy the actual fitting to screw in, so if you dont see a fitting, look for the spot where it might go. They look like this
  8. My 4 year old could pass as a 7 year old well until he talks to you.
  9. No just my Kees Krys. Its going to cost me $22 to get my FOUR year old in, unless I can hide him or get a free pass.
  10. We've had them over a week now, well I have. Did not get enough to get us in, so unless someone entered a LOT or arent going now, you wont find many spare passes around.
  11. I use the 4Legs Turkey & Gravy one, for when I have to medicate the dogs. Like right now I have a bitch on Chlorophyll powder, and its MUCH easier to mix it in with the 4Legs, and I know they will scoff it down. Same with worming tablets (crushed) or any other medications I need to give.
  12. I did a bit of research on Giardia a while back. Now Im pretty sure the treatment is with Drontal, but memory is poor. Symptoms generally are mild recurring diarrhea consisting of soft, light-colored stools, to acute explosive diarrhea in severe cases. Other signs associated with giardia are weight loss, listlessness, fatigue, mucus in the stool, and anorexia. Edited to add - this is from the Drontal website. Treatment is given for 3 days in a row
  13. I feed my Amstaff on Barko and he eats like a bloody dane. He does fine on it, but he eats anything without too much hassle.
  14. What a big fat joke that one state can make their own rules. Why cant we just all work under the ANKC banner, rather than having different things for different states. How stupid.
  15. I am going on Tuesday 6th.
  16. Very interesting reading! I also do my own website and I think it fits in nicely with what people like to see. I hope anyway. My site costs me about $40 a year all up including hosting and domain, but its not template based. But its not that hard, and I am always happy to help people out. I will also do complete websites for a few select people for a pretty damn cheap price. Click my banner if you want to check out my site
  17. I will crouch down to watch smaller breeds on the move. You sometimes cannot see boo from a normal standing position. I consider myself on the taller side of things for a woman, though not as tall as some
  18. What a great buzz!! Well done to Costa, his breeders and his new owners.
  19. Hmmmm I dont have much to say. I like DOL because its like minded people who can share ideas. I have been around for a while, but did not really post for a long time. But the memory is poor so I dont remember anymore! LOL
  20. Absolutely DITCH the Frontline and use Advantage or Advantix. It is the ONLY thing that works around here.
  21. I use and recommend Coprice, Great Barko & Unlce Albers for the lighter wallet. My retirees get any of these, depending on where I shop that week. Petbarn does not stock the Great Barko/Uncle Albers, and so if I want that I have to travel further. I prefer the Coprice Family or the Drover one is quite good too.
  22. I would buy them and the puppy a gift and not pay anything directly. Maybe a gift hamper for the people and a doggy one for the puppy?
  23. Ours was freighted from Melb to Sydney in 1998.
  24. I've had a surprise singleton like that, from a 12 year old bitch! It was on her bed one morning! She didnt want it, we had to hand raise it. I knew who the father had to be though!
