I have a 10 week pup Murdock and he is having similar toilet training issues as Jade was. Did you end up trying the lead method with her toilet training? By the way Jade is gorgeous.

A friend suggested perfume, I have put a little squirt on the top of my son's feet and back of his hands. Murdock doesn't like that much but the baby smells lovely

Thank you for that Sugar We are giving him something to chew on that he is allowed as oppose to our hands and feet, but there were a few things in that which I can try.

Thank you for your ideas. We are currently giving the pup something he is allowed to chew. I beleive he is doing what pups do. I need to teach my son.

I have a new pup and at 8 weeks he is obviously mouthing, all my kids are doing the right thing apart from my 18 month old who thinks it is funny when he gets chewed. Someone suggested putting something on my son's hand that my pup thinks is unpleasant but it won't be harmful if my son puts his hands in his mouth. Anyway any ideas?

I don't get any tinned dog food. That said Aldi is great for some other things

Thank you all. I spoke to his lovely foster mum and he is picking up well. Apparently just a day or two behind the others, he even got his teeth through a day or two behind the others. His Mum is a beautiful calm, efficient mother she is a darling as well.

A beautiful Staffy X rescue. His mum was found on the road having given birth to 5 babies and then she spent 2 weeks at Wagga pound and is now in rescue with ARF in Canberra. Abit of a tragic beginning but all good now. I am able to visit whenever. Thanks for your advice

I have my name down on a puppy and I have heard that he is quiet and sleeps most of the day. He is nearly 4 weeks old. Is this ok? If he is just a quieter pup that isn't an issue. I would really apprecite your opinions
