I am shedding many tears here Cathy, Mack's story and your glorious updates and pictures made me feel a connection with this lovely old bloke. You gave this wonderful man the joy and love he deserved. Sending you HUGE HUGE hugs. -

May I just add that in the past the ACT RSCPA have let dogs go to the Marines
-
Yep I temperament tested him and I also spoke to the Army guys. This dog was going to be pts and the army saved him and gave him job, a job he was great at. I am sad that this has been turned into the farce that it has. I wish they could find him, he is missing in action.

Any Ideas Of Where I Can Get My Big Girl Some Pj's/sweater?
frenzied1 replied to frenzied1's topic in General Dog Discussion
I agree also but my little Staffy has the thinnest coat ever so she does feel the cold. Kenzie has a single coat also so both will be fine. -

Any Ideas Of Where I Can Get My Big Girl Some Pj's/sweater?

Thanks guys. I want indoor jumpers though I already have a great coat for her, it is a dog rug made the same way a horse rug is, it is the best coat ever. Anyway yes I would like jumpers rather than coats. P.S How is the wonderful Satchmo? -
So sorry for your loss Jules

Do You Have A List Of What Breeds You Want To Own One Day?
frenzied1 replied to Aztec Gold's topic in General Dog Discussion
Mine are: Irish Wolfhound first and foremost. I have wanted one since I was a child, we were on the list to get one and then I adopted on of my foster dogs and my husband is unwilling to have 4 pet dogs and one foster StaffordI have a Staffy girl and a Staffy X but I believe I will always have a Staffy in my home Pug Who couldn't love this breed. Great DaneI have always admired the breed. My friend had a wonderful Dane and he was a good ambassador for the brred French Bulldog Again a friend has 2 Frenchies and they are funny and have the most wonderful characters British Bulldog Just love them! GreyhoundA breed again that freinds own and I love their temperament. BullmastiffAn admired breed from way back.. I grew up with Poodles and Bischon Frise's but I love more boofy dogs. Since being in the position to be able to own my own dogs I have been involved in rescue and I have ended up falling in love with other dogs like a 10 year old Blue Heeler!!! She was who made me believe in love at first sight. Anyway that is my brief off the top of my head list. -
Maisie is my little Staffy and she loves having her PJ's on, she will sit in front of me and wait for them to be put on. I didn't think either if my other 2 dogs were interested until yesterday Kenzie my Wolfie X was trying to get into Maisie's PJ's. So can anyone recommend a place where I can get a doggy sweater or Pj's for a larger dog I would say from neck to base of tail she is about 55cm. Thanks in advance?

Thanks for all the advice I really appreicate it. I have tried the BARF diet for my dogs but my biggest girl kept throwing up, expecially with the sardines. I will definitely try the chicken wings but as for lamb bones my biggest girl again had the horrendous runs. Anyway I will continue on -

Cannot find any prices on the Black Hawk food, could you tell me how much you pay please? -
Hi Guys, I am sure that there have been loads of thread about this but I needed to ask for me. I have a Wolfie X Female Kenzie Approx 8 Years, Staffy X Male Murdock 4 years and Staffy female 2 years. Both my girls tend to get skin allergies particularly in summer. I was feeding them Advance that is $110 a 15 kilo and that didn;t last too long. Then I read on here about Uncle Alber's $35 for 22 kilos. This is all well and good but I have noticed all my dogs coats have been dryer and they just don't seem as happy. Money is in issue as I simply cannot afford the advance but can anyone give me some advice on feeding my dogs cheaply but ensuring they are getting the nutrients they need. Hope that makes sense and thanks in advance Cheers Bev

I LOVED the pictures, how beautiful Sorry if my 3 year old did that to one of my dogs, I would not let them near the dog again. I think it is disgusting you were allowed to do it and I wouldn't have blamed the dog if theyt had bitten you. Anyway I grew up with a toy poodle that bit me every week for 14 years, partly because my Mum is terrible at training her dogs, she loves them and cares for them but they are often not obedient etc. Anyway partly Mum's fault and partly mine, the poodle was just a product of the household she grew up in. I also nearly had my face bitten by a Lab. My point is that dogs are a product of the household they grow up in. You can put one dog in 10 different households and see 10 different behaviours. I am very comfortable with my kids being around my dogs but I am not so keen on other peoples kids being around them simply because I have no idea what rules and ways they have been taught.

Thanks AMS I am so happy that he is on the mend, also I am not surprised that 1000 people are interested
